Lisbon Blockchain Winter School (LxBWS)
The first edition of the Lisbon Blockchain Winter School (LxBWS) will take place at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), from February 10 to 14, 2025. This initiative, launched and funded by the BIG Era Chair Project, of which INESC-ID is a partner, aims to deliver a comprehensive educational program centered on the latest advancements and applications of blockchain technology.
The LxBWS is designed for researchers, PhD students, IT professionals, and blockchain enthusiasts seeking to deepen their understanding of this transformative technology. Participants will benefit from a well-structured curriculum that includes theoretical lectures addressing both fundamental and intermediate topics in blockchain, alongside keynote presentations from leading industry specialists. The program will also incorporate practical hands-on laboratory sessions and engaging poster presentations tailored specifically for PhD students.

Note: A limited number of LxBWS grants will be available for students and/or junior researchers (who have concluded the Ph.D. in the last 5 years) and will fully cover the registration fee.
Early registration will be available from November 19 to December 2, 2024, followed by late registration from December 3 to 18, 2024.
