Guinness World Record Attempt: Largest Coding Lesson

Inscriptions are now opened to participate in the largest coding lesson in the world. Instituto Superior Técnico and Magma Studio, with support from the Students’ Association of Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon City Council, and Unicorn Factory Lisbon, are coming together to attempt a Guinness World Record for the Largest Coding Lesson in the World. The event aims to gather over 1,600 participants to achieve this goal.
The event is scheduled for October 12, from 9h00 to 15h00, at the Técnico Innovation Centre powered by Fidelidade, in Lisbon. It is primarily targeted at university students from any Portuguese higher education institution.
Participation is free of charge. After registration, students will receive an email inviting them to confirm their attendance and pay a deposit of €10, which will be refunded on the day of the event. Participants will also receive an Official Certificate of Participation from the Guinness World Records.
The coding lesson, running from 10h35 to 12h15, will be conducted by INESC-ID president Inês Lynce, Rodrigo Girão, and Arlindo Oliveira.
