Final Conference kNOwHATE Project: “Online hate speech in Portugal: What present and what future?
The final conference of the kNOwHATE project, entitled “Online hate speech in Portugal: What present and what future?“, will provide a unique opportunity to discuss and reflect on the current scenario and future prospects of online hate speech in Portugal.
The conference will be attended by experts in the field and the project’s research team, and will also be broadcast live on the kNOwHATE project’s YouTube channel, allowing for greater accessibility and public participation.
The kNOwHATE consortium, funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme, and including INESC-ID, ISCTE and ITI as research partners, aims at addressing this need, offering an innovative, comprehensive, participatory, and culturally sensitive approach to analyse, detect, and counter, direct and indirect OHS in Portuguese language.
