Enlit Europe 2024

Enlit is one of the most significant events in the energy sector, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the world, with over 15,000 attendees every year. This year’s edition will count with over 700 exhibitors, representing the best-in-class technologies for Digitalisation, Decarbonisation, Democratisation and Decentralisation and feauture thought leaders, innovators and disruptors in the energy sector and beyond.

INESC ID will be present, represented by three Horizon Europe projects, Shift2DC, U2Demo and EV4EU and U2Demo, in booth nº 6.E10, and the Aliance for Energy Transition (ATE) project, showcasing firsthand knowledge about the broader work being developed by our institute in the field of Energy Transition.

Session EV4EU: October 22, the project coordinator at INESC ID, researcher Hugo Morais, will be part of the BRIDGE/ETIP SNET session “Sustainable transport integration into the grid” focusing on Grid infrastructure for e-mobility, planning, operations, V2G and EV Battery degradation.

The session will take place between 14h00 and 15h30 at the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 1 (Hall 6).

Session U2DEMO: On October 22, the project coordinator at INESC ID, Hugo Morais, will be part of the session “Sustainable transport integration into the grid” focusing on Grid infrastructure for e-mobility, planning, operations, V2G and EV Battery degradation.

The session will take place between 14h00 and 15h30 at the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 1 (Hall 6) – with Laurent Schmitt, Chair of Digital Committee – smartEn and Santiago Gallego Amores, WG1 Co-Chair – ETIP SNET also joining as speakers.

Session SHIFT2DC: On October 23, the project coordinator at INESC ID, Hugo Morais, will be part of the session “Grid Technologies” focused on technologies that will enable RES integration into the grid, but also microgrids like islands. Projects participating in the discussion include SUBLIME and FILSUN.

The session will take place between 09h00 and 10h00 at the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 2 (Hall 6).

Stand ATE: On October 24, INESC-ID researcher Pedro Costa will be present at the Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE) stand, presenting the project. More about the project here.
