This project aims at investigating new techniques for property preserving topology adaptation and their applications. Namely, the project intends to: i) design and implement a set of topology management protocols that are to preserve relevant invariants during adaptation; ii) analyze algorithms to implement basic communication and coordination primitives on top of dynamic networks, that can leverage from the invariants preserved by the topology adaptation layer and, finally, iii) build a distributed service that serves as a case-study for illustrating and evaluating the previous layers; in particular, we aim at building a novel tuple space service for dynamic networks.
